Kyu Nakama is a film and video editor based in Brooklyn with over a decade of experience working on films, docu-series, and commercials for companies like Vox, Food Network, and Discovery.
He has worked as the Senior Video Editor at Fatherly, field edited in the back of a moving van for Refinery29, self-produced a short-doc on NYC rap group Slums, and has made Sean Ringgold cry (in the good way).
When he's not obsessing in trim mode, Kyu is either playing DnD or rewatching the Cars 3 teaser trailer.
